                                                          USING FUEL TO ITS MAXIUM USE WILL SAVE LIVES, FUEL AND MONEY

Igor Sikorsky used the exhaust heat of a piston engine in a airplane he built to power a steam turbine for the elctrical power for the airplane.  The waste heat of  a diesel engine is 700 to 1000 degrees Fahrenheit.  My idea is about using the exhaust gases in military generators for additional power in Afghanistan to provide more power from diesel generators and for additional generators that will produce more electricity and use the maximum use of the fuel.  The military can use the Doble brother's steam boiler to  heat up the water from the exhaust gases from the diesel generators to power additional generators. The military has three options to use to gernerate more power one is a Sterling Engine which can be used when the diesel generator is down.  The second one is a Doble steam piston generator which the Doble brothers filed a patent on.  A third one is a current small electric steam turbine which can also be used when the diesel generator is down.  A good machine shop can build all the equipment you need to use the diesel fuel to its maximum use.

The cost of a megwatt hour is over $1000 in Afghanistan and one injury or loss of life per 24 fuel conveys.  One permanent disability will cost over $1,000,000 over a life time.  

One of the main reason I am running for Congress is to save lives with the HIV vaccine and to helping the United States military to be the best at what they do using the best technology it can use.  GENERAL DAVID PETRAEUS has written a MEMORANDUM (date 7 June 2011 ) in Afghanistan for the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, Marines, and Civilians of the US.  As  a civilians I am stepping up to help the United States military USING FUEL TO ITS MAXIUM USE WILL SAVE LIVES, FUEL AND MONEY.  This using of the exhaust gases of diesel generators can be used in any big diesel generator for additional power from Thule Greeenland to Diego Garcia Island.  It can save tens of millions of dollar every year.  

Soldiers can use small Sterling Engines to recharge rechargeable batteries with white cooking gas or Coleman fuel so they can carry fewer batteries and have less heavy backpacks to save weight marching in combat zones.

                                                                                                  STEAM TURBINE AIRPLANE

I have a plane to build a steam turbine airplane that can take off in less than 100 feet and land in less than 100 feet. The short take-off airplane has already been built and using steam power the propeller can be put in reverse and stop the airplane just as the only steam powered airplane was built with.   THIS AIRPLANE CAN DELIVER SUPPLIES AND FUEL TO FORWARD OPERATING BASES AT REDUCE COST.  The short take-off airplane was built by a man named Willard Custer. His airplane with a channel wing can take off going only about 20 MPH .The United States Government has a good report on the channel wing, (NACA RM L53A09). In the right conditions this airplane can hover in midair with a machine gun in it  the airplane it  can be used to kill enemy ground forces and it can stay up for days. 

                                                                    ENERGY EFFICIENT VEHICLES USING A STEAM TURBINE

The idea of using electric steam turbines to move vechicles was original used in navy ships over one hundred year ago.  The Steam turbo electric powered ships are more fuel efficient than regular steam turbine ships because the steam electric turbine turns at their best speed and is best at the use of its fuel and the propellers are driven without the use of reduction gears which makes them more fuel efficient than direct steam turbines.  The aircraft carrier Lexington and the carrier Saratoga where built with over 130 megawatts of power to sail the ships  and power the internal power systems.  The Doble brothers have the best steam powered car in the world.  Using the Doble brother's steam boiler to heat up the water then putting that steam to use in a steam turbine electric generator it is easy to the 54.5 MPG car.  But it wll be very easy with advance steam turbines and a few other ideas to get them to the magic 100 MPG.  There is a American who own's two of the Doble cars one was even owned by Howard Hughes.  Since the car's electric generator will run at its best speed to not only power the car but it will also power the car's quick charging batteries that can run the car on battery power when fully charged, this will make the car the most fuel efficient car in the world.  This American is the best person in the world to lead up this effort to make a electric stream turbine car because he works with electric cars, steam cars, and gas turbine cars.  He can get very close to the 100 mpg or over it but I still know the very best steam turbine to use and the advancement that can improve it over its current design and one idea that can improve it 5% to 10% or more but some else own this idea and they should profit from this idea.  Since this car is not an internal combustion engine it can use hydrogen gas to power it or natural gas, also gasoline to diesel fuel for the best option to power it on long distant travel and it will cost less than today's fuel cell car.  This idea should make cars two times to three times more fuel efficient than today's cars.  The combustion of any of the fuels used to power the steam powered electric car will 
​burn up nearly completely and give up almost all of its heat energy before it exits the cars exhaust system.


                                                                           MAKING INDIVIDUAL AND GENERAL HIV/AIDS VACCINE

We need to make an idividual and general HIV/AIDS vaccine.  The vaccine should be based upon killed HIV virus similar to the vaccine that Jonas Salk created for polio and Louis Pasteur did for the rabbies virus.  How Louis Pasteur made the rabies vaccine is by infecting a rabbit with the rabbies virus and havesting the spinal cord of a rabbit's spinal cord and drying out the cord for fourteen day and using it for a vaccine.  It may be that simple of an idea to make an HIV vaccine that way.  The HIV virus can be taken out of a patient's blood from the water portion and white blood cells.  The patient's blood must have very little antiviral drugs at the time of the blood donation.  The very best people to use are the persons who are long term HIV survivors who do not take any antiviral drugs at all.  To do this the water portion and the white blood cell must be separated from the whole blood in a centrifuge.  One way to open up the white blood cells is to use an atmospheric chamber to lower the pressure and temerature.  Bringing the pressure so that the white blood cells will rupture under low pressure and temperature.  Bringing the pressure to the same height as 65,000 feet and a temperature of 98 degrees Fahrenheit will do it.  The HIV virus must be extracted from the white blood cells so it is ready to be used in a vaccine.  There are other machines that can open up the white blood cells.  Or you can use chemical means to open up the white blood cells.  Exposure to radiation or ultra violet light will kill the HIV virus without altering its underlying structure too much so it can be used for a vaccine.  The radiation or ultra violet light will cause the electrons in the HIV virus to jump to a new orbit and may kill the HIV that way.  The radiation or ultra violet may alter the nuclear spin of the elements inside the HIV virus and may kill the virus that way.  Or the radiation or ultra violet light may have enouph energy inside the HIV to push elements out of the HIV virus and kill it that way.  One of these methods will work or all three will work,  the most imporatant part of these methods is to kill the HIV virus to use as a vaccine.  The drying out of the HIV virus may also work.  It may take dozens or more shots of the HIV vaccine to see if you can build up enough antibodies of different types to kill the HIV virus.  The most important part of this HIV treatment is not to kill too many antibodies if you are using the water portion of a patient's blood only.  Heat will also kill the HIV virus but may alter the structure too much to be used as a vaccine.  The other safe way to kill the HIV virus is to use alcohol but it may alter the HIV virus structure too much.  Also the alcohol and the dead HIV virus must be put in a centrifuge to separate the alcohol and the vaccine to be used.  There are othere chemical compounds to use but they may also alter the HIV viurs structure to much.  The best HIV vaccine will be the one that kills the virus without changing the structure too much.  The vaccine based upon the whole dead virus will allow the body's own immune system to build up its own antibodies to protect people from the HIV virus and possible cure them of HIV just as Louis Pasteur did for people infected by the rabies virus.  It may take infecting rabbits with a person's own HIV virus to speed up the development of individual HIV vaccine to build up a big amount of the whole dead viruses.  The only two places on the HIV virus for the anitbodies to attack are where the HIV virus attaches to the white blood cells and where there is not a hydrocarbon coating on the HIV spike.  For this vaccine to work best people should be off antiviral drugs for a short period of time being before they are back on antiviral drugs.  Seattle has existing medical facilities such as University of Washington Medical Center and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center that can lead the way in HIV/AIDS research and produce an effective HIV vaccine and AIDS treatment.  The other treatment to consider is to see if chemical dyes can be use in the human body to attach to the HIV virus.  Chemical dyes are very in expensive to make.  This idea is to use the body's own kidneys to take out the dye along with the HIV virus.  Also the dye treatment can be used with the water portion of the blood taken out of a patient's blood and mixed together to make sure the dye and HIV virus are combined together before they are put back in the patient's body.  This treatment may be the last hope of people who the current drugs will not work with.  Rabbits can be used to see if any of these ideas will work with.​  You will need lots of rabbits not on antiviral drugs that are infected with the HIV virus to make daily vaccines from to use in unifected rabbits after 30 days of daily injections of a whole dead HIV vaccine now infect the rabbits with the live viruses from all the rabbits that were used to make the vaccine.  If this time frame doesn't work, see how many days it does take to make the vaccine work even if it is a year in time.  Also see if rabbits already infected by HIV virus can be cured by giving them the HIV vaccine in daily injections every day for 30 days and stop and test the rabbits for the HIV virus up to one year in time.  You may need to give daily injections of the dead HIV virus up to a year in time to train the human antibodies to kill the HIV virus not just one, two or three injections or more.  If elected to Congress I will seek funding for these ideas and more.



                                                                                        RUN OF THE RIVE POWER


​Run of the river power is a United Nations approve power source used to generate electricity.  Run of the river power is taking 1/4 to 1/2 of the river flow to produce electicity without harming fish.  During the night at Niagra Falls has half its water source is diverted to produce electricity for people in Canada and the United States but durning the day only 1/4 of the falls flow is used to produce electricity.  Here in Western Washington we have two famous run of the river hydropower plants one at Snoqualmie Falls that is over one hundred years old and one on the Puyallup River that's called Electron Hydroelectric Project that has the "crookedest railway in the world".  The one on the Puyallup River uses a wooden flume to funnel the river water 10 miles downstream to the power plant with a 10 mile railroad track on top of it to transport personnel and equipment to the power station.  The flume on the Puyallup River has a 28 minute video on how to build a flume with wood.  This type of water transport is best in areas that do not have roads for miles long penstock or flume to be installed along and has lots of timber to use to build penstock or flumes.  There are bridge companies like the Bailey Bridge Company that makes modular components that are easy to put together by unskilled workers as bases for penstock or flumes to build on.  Flumes can be made without using wood materials where wood is not an option.

The best use of run of the river power where it is not cost effective to build power lines to towns or cities is to use the river power to take carbon dioxide out of the Earth's atmosphere using current carbon dioxide scrubbers used in the natural gas industry.  The river power will also be used to make hydrogen then
combing it with carbon dioxide to make methanol.  The methanol can be used for cooking fuel (pop can stove), lighting at night time, for use in generators to make electricity in third world counties.  The methanol can be turned into gasoline using the ExxonMobil catalyst.  It takes about 3.25 megawatts hours of electricity to take carbon dioxide out of the Earth's atmosphere and combined it with hydrogen to produce methanol then to make one barrel of gasoline and using about one barrel of water.  This is from a goverment report and the United States Goverment  owns all the patents that use renewable energy and a nuclear power plant to produce gasolione from atmospheric carbon dioxide also diesel fuel and jet fuel.  It takes about 3.65 megawatts hours of power to produce one barrel of diesel fuel or jet fuel and using about one barrel of water.

On the upper Columbiua River in Canada there is a big storage dam called Duncan Dam to use as a prototype to prove you can take carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere and combined it with hydrogen to prove you can take carbon dioxide out of the atmosphere and combined it with hydrogen to make methanol then gasoline.  This dam is big enough to also use the reverse water shift reaction to make carbon monoxide from carbon dioxide and hydrogen.  Using carbon monoxide and hydrogen and using the Fischer Tropsch process to make synthetic gasoline, diesel fuel and jet fuel.

The world's gross hyro potential is about 40,500 Terawatts hour each year.  The technically fesible potential is 14,300 Terawatt hours each year.  The economical fesible power is 8,100 Terawatt hours each year.

With not having to build power lines many miles to towns of cities it should be economically possible to go over 8,100 Terawatt hours each year.  Canada is a better place to build over 100,000 megawatts of new run of the river power plants the United States is only in the ten's of thousand of megawatts of power to use.  Hydrogen and oxygen can be stored in hard rock wells for peak power production where run of the river power plants have power lines that go to towns or cities.  I do have an idea to make a new type of water turbine to use in run of the river power plants that maybe more effricient than what is used in smaller hydropower plants

If you want to go to a fossil free fuel source for the United States of America you will need a baseline power source of geothermal power.  It will take a little over 2,000,000 megawatts hours every hour and every day of the year to take carbon dioxide out of the atmophere and turn it into gasoline, diesel fuel and jet fuel every day.  The United States Goverment already has done this idea with nuclear power.  Iceland needs only a baseline power source of just over 2,400 megawatts of renewable energy from geothermal energy to do it.

​                                                                             GEOTHERMAL ENERGY with TODAY'S TECHNOLOGY

Lots of people talk about renewable energy on a massive scale but have no idea on how to do it.  I know how to do the big ideas like the Manhattan Project or Apollo Project for renewable energy with geothermal power.  The world needs geothermal energy for it is a base line power system that will run on the heat of the Earth 24/7 365 days a year.  I am working on the technology to build efficient enviromentally safe geothermal power plants here in the United States of America.  In the Western United States from 100,000 to 500,000 megawatts of elcectical power can be produced from hot dry rocks.  This estimate is from the United States Geothermal Resources Survey of Assement of Moderate and High Temperature  Geothermal Resources of the Western United States.  One thousand megawatt of power running 24/7 365 days a year at $60.00 a megawatt will generate $525,600,000 of revenue each year at $100.00 will generate 876,000,000 of revenue for the year.

My geothermal program is a near closed loop system by drilling a return well to bring up the heated fluid from the Earth's heated hot dry rocks then drilling several sets of directional pipes miles out in the heated hot dry rocks a few thousand feet apart.  There will be a reinjection well a few miles away that is drilled down to the heat zone then drilling sets of pipes parallel over the return pipes or one on top of each other each set of pipes will be about thousand feet apart.  The reinjections pipes will run as close as possible to the return pipes so that the working fluid will not have far to travel to the return well. With today's hydraulic fracturing technology the fracturing of the pipes and rocks will not be a problem. A working fluid can be of water, carbon dioxide, or even atmospheric air.  Why atmospheric air because water may start Earth quakes and carbon dioxide cannot be used in populated areas.  The working fluid will be pumped down the reinjection well to the return pipes then to the uptake  pipes then to the return well to draw the energy from the Earth to heat the working fluid for the geothermal power plant.  The best use of this technology will be to use part of the geothermal energy to produce electricity and to power electrolysis machines to separate water into hydrogen and oxygen.  The hydrogen an oxygen will be stored in hard rock wells or if salt domes are around.  The hydrogen and oxygen can be used to power turbines to produce electricity at peak power times for maximum profit.  The oxygen can also be combined with natural gas, coal or biomass for an oxy-fuel combustion using almost pure oxygen to produce electricity, water, carbon dixodie, or carbon monoxide.  The pure carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide will be captured and used with hydrogen to produce methanol  and then to gasoline (patent already in use). This method of producing gasoline is the best use of geothermal energy to not only produce electricity but FREE THE UNITED STATES FROM DEPENDENCY UPON OVERSEAS OIL.  WHY PUT CARBON DIOXIDE IN THE GROUND WHEN YOU CAN TURN IT INTO LIQUID CARBON FUEL FOR THE AMERICAN PEOPLE.  Carbon dioxide can also be used in a reverse water shift reaction to transform carbon dioxide into carbon monoxide.  Then using the Fischer Tropsch process the carbon monoxide can be used to produce synthetic gasoline, diesel fuel and jet fuel which the United States Air Force and Navy can use in its ships and airplanes on a 50% oil base fuel and 50% synthetic blend.  Why the fuel blend because of you use 100% synthetic jet fuel it will cause the gaskets to shrink resulting in a fire in the jet engine.

 Right now the best hot dry rocks can do is about 55 lb/sec with this system it should go into the hundreds if not thousands gallons of water a second.  It is my hope with testing of this new form of geothermal energy system that can lead to a hot dry rock geothermal power plant that can procude over 250 megawatts of power same as a small coal plant.  This can lead to a set of power plants that can produce 750 to 1000 megawatts of power inside of ten to fifteen square miles.

 Ormat's Galena Power Plant is a geothermal power just outside of Reno Nevada is a 100 megawatt power plant that supplies the city with 20 percent of its daytime electricity needs and 50 percent of its night time needs.  Ormat's geothermal power plant receives its thermal energy 3000 feet below the ground at 300 degrees Fahrengeit (150C) to boil a chemical refrigerant to produce 100 megawatts of power.  It uses 6000 gallons of water per minute to power the geothermal power plant.  This area is the best place that I know of to do a hard rock power plant with only having to drill only three thousand feet to the geothermal heat zone.

​It takes about 3.25 megawatts hours of electricity to take carbon dixodie out of the Earth's atmosphere and combined it with hydrogen to produce methanol then to gasoline using the ExxonMobil system to make one barrel of gasoline and using about  one barrel of water.  This is from a goverment report and the United States Goverment owns all of the patents that use renewable energy and one nuclear energy patent to produce gasoline, diesel fuel, and jet fuel from the Earth's atmosphere, it takes about 3.65 megawatts hours of power to produce one barrel of diesel fuel and jet fuel and using about one barrel of water.  Using oxy-fuel combustion of natural gas and using the carbon dioxide or carbon monoxide to make liquid carbon fuel will make millions barrels of synthetic carbon fuel a day and save us from using overseas oil and saving us from sending over a BILLION DOLLARS A DAY TO COUNTRIES THAT DO NOT LIKE US.

The nonfood biomass of the United States is over 1.3 billion tons each year (The United States Goverment has reports on biomass with The Billion Ton Report and The Billion Tons Update Report).  Using geothermal energy and other renewable energy this biomass is enough to produce over 12 million barrels of diesel fuel each day.  This is also from a goverment report that uses nuclear power plants to make the diesel fuel.  The United States Goverment has lot of reports on how to turn biomass into bio-fuel and the people to do it and they are from the National Laboratories.  About the only ideas  they have not done is a mobile biomass reduction plant and that is not hard to do.  It is my goal to build a 1000 megawatts power plant for just under $1,000,000,000 per plant.  The United States Goverment want it militatry bases to be energy independent of outside power sources it can with geothermal power this geothermal power can also produce the fuel for the military bases too which they also want to do.  In the Pacific Ocean there is a place called Diego Garica to build a geothermal synthetic fossil fuel powe plant for the United States Navy Ships and its airplanes.



                                                            GEOTHRMAL ENERGY with TOMORROW'S TENCNOLOGY ​


Lot's of people talk about renewable energy on a massive scale but have no idea on how to do it.  I know to do the big ideas like the Manhattan Project  or the Apollo Project for renewable energy with geothermal power with tomorrow's technology.  The world needs geothermal energy for it is a base line power source that runs on the heat of the Earth 24/7 365 ​days a year.  My idea is working on the technology to build efficient environmetally safe geothermal power plants here in the United States.  In the Western United States from 100,000 to 500,000 megawatts hours 24/7 365 days a year of electrical power can be produced from hot dry rocks.  This estimate is from the United States Geothermal Survey of the Assessment of Moderate and High Temperature Geothermal Resource of the Western United States.  One thousand megawatts of power running 24/7 365 days a year at $60.00 a megawatt will generate $525,600,000 of revenue each year.  One thousand of power running 24/7 365 days a year at $100.00 will generate $876,000,000 of revenue each year.

My geothermal program is a near closed loop system by drilling a uptake well down to heat source then using flame jet drilling or super heated water to evauate an underground cavern from the drilled well's wall, this type of drilling is called spallation.  A flame jet or super heated water will cause the rock well's walls to flake off  and drop further down the drilled shaft and leave a cavern for other drilled wells to connect too and a laser may also work.  An Amercian company called Potter Drilling Company already does this type of drilling and they should be able to do this type of cavern in a few short months.  I do have some ideas that can do this cavern with a different method.  We will bore several directional drilled wells two to three miles away to the underground geothermal heat source then to the excavated cavern.  With this geothermal power plant the working fluid the power output can compete with hydropower and natural gas power plants and win a power price war.   Several miles away there wil be reinjection wells that will return the working fluid to the cavern then to the return well.  A working fluid can be of water, carbon dioxide or even atmospheric air.  Why atmospheric air because water may start Earth quakes and carbon dioxide cannot be used in populated areas.  The working fluid will be pumped down the reinjection wells then to the cavern then to the return well to draw the energy from the Earth's heat to heat the working fluid for the geothermal power plant.  This geothermal power plant is just like a nuclear power plant but only using the natural heat of the Earth to heat the working fluid to power the geothermal power plants.  The best use of the geothermal power is to use part of its power to power electrolysis machines to separate water into hydrogen an oxygen.  The hydrogen and oxygen can be used to power electric gas tubines combined with steam turbines for cogenerating power to produce electricity at peak power times for maxium profit.  The really best use of geothermal power is to produce oxygen and hydrogen to use with natural gas power plant for oxy-fuel combustion with almost pure oxygen and using the hydrogen to make synthetic fuel of gasoline, diesel fuel and jet fuel from the carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide.  WHY PUT CARBON DIXOIDE IN THE GROUND WHEN YOU CAN TURN IT INTO LIQUID CARBON FUEL. Why do this if you want to go fossile fuel free for the United States of America you will need a little over  2,000,0000 megawatt hour of power to take atmospheric carbon dioxide out of the atmospere to turn into gasoline, diesel fuel and jet fuel with hydrogen every hour of the day 365 days a year for the fuel that the Uinted States uses every day.  But you still need fossil fuel power plants to produce the electricty you will need for the American people or almost 700,000 additional megawatts hours of generating power of geothermal power or other renewable energy and for peak power production.  The pure carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide will be captured and used with hydrogen to produce methanol and then to gasoline (patent already in use by ExxonMoil and other companies).  This method of producing gasoline  is the best use of geothermal energy to not only produce electricity but to make millions barrels of gasoline each and every day to free the United States from dependency upon overseas oil.  Carbon dioxide can also be used in a reverse water shift reaction to transform carbon dioxide into carbon monoxide.  Carbon monoxide using the Fischer Tropsch process the carbon monoxide can produce synthetic gasoline, diesel fuel and jet fue.  The United States Air Force and Navy can use this fuel in its ships and its airplanes and Army vehicles.


Right now the best hot dry rocks can do is about 55 lb. /sec with this system it should go into the thousands of pounds per second.  It is my hope with testing of this new form of geothermal energy system that can lead to a hot dry rock geothemeral power plant that can produce over 250 megawatts of power same as a small coal fired power plant.  This can lead to a set of power plants that can produce over 750 to 1000 megawatts of power plants inside of ten to fifteen square miles.

The United States has the technology to build geothermal energy power plants with a near closed loop system with tomorrow's technology that will have virtually no negative environmental impact.  The geothermal power plant will provide power for electricity for people to use and for the production of gasoline, diesel fuel and jet fuel using non food biomass and biomass from farm animals, and eliminating the need of overseas oil for the United States of America.   This system of using geothermal power will provide over a million jobs of green energy jobs that cannot be exported overseas.  This will also save America over a Billion Dollars a day from going overseas to some goverments that do not like us.

The nonfood biomass of the United States is over 1.3 billion tons each year (The Billion Ton Report and The Billion Ton Update Report).  Using geothermal energy this biomass is enough to produce over 12 million barrels of diesel fuel each day.  This is also from a goverment report that used nuclear power plants to make the diesel fuel.  The United States Goverment has lots of reports on how to turn biomass into biofuel and the people to do it and they are from the National Laboraties.  About the only idea they have not done is a mobile biomass reduction plant and that is not that hard to do.  It is my goal to build a 1000 megawatt power plant for just about $1,000,000,000 per plant.  The United States Goverment wants its military bases to be energy independent of outside power sources it can with geothermal power this geothermal power can also produce the fuel for the military bases too which they also want to do.  In the Pacific Ocean there is a place called Diego Garcia Island to build a geothermal synthetic fossil fuel power plant for the United States Navy Ships and it Airplanes.
